Pelham Civic Association
Serving the Pelham, NY community since 1939. We are a charitable organization of men and their families dedicated to promoting civic involvement and assisting those in need. Our programs make a life-changing difference for hundreds of people every year, from young children to students, families, senior citizens, and those facing medical or financial hardship.
Programs
Help a Child, Change a Life
We provide need-worthy students with learning support, skill enrichment experiences, and social support services to help them reach their full potential. Learn More
Good Neighbors
We confidentially provide support and emergency financial assistance to hundreds of individuals and families throughout Pelham. At Thanksgiving and Christmas, we also distribute hundreds of holiday dinners and gifts for children.
Career Awareness Workshops
We organize panel discussions at PMHS with the Guidance Department to help students understand the range of career options available as they begin thinking about their academic and career plans after graduation.
Community Awards
Each school year, we award $28,000 to seven high school students from Pelham who demonstrate civic leadership, volunteerism, and charitable support in the community. Learn More
Seniors Programs
We provide continued support for the senior citizens in our community throughout the year through educational and health seminars, and fun holiday events.
Supporting Community Organizations
We support other community programs, including the Memorial Day Parade with Post 50, Scouts, Rotary Club, Pelham Together, Music Festival, Children’s Theater, Little League, Danny Fund, The Manor Club, and Project Community.

Fall Gala
The “social highlight of the year,’’ our annual fundraising event honors Pelham’s “Persons of the Year” and includes dancing, dinner, and friends. Learn More
Pelham Half Marathon and 10K
An annual community event on Saturday, Thanksgiving weekend to benefit Civic's "Help a Child, Change a Life" program. The 2023 race attracted more than 800 runners from Pelham, the greater NYC area, and around the world. Learn More
Toonerville Music Festival
Pelham’s annual music festival features local musicians and headlining bands, including “Living Colour” (2022) and “The Spin Doctors” (2023). All proceeds benefit Civic’s community assistance programs. Learn More
Pelham K-5 Olympics
An annual event for all Pelham kids K-5 to “compete” in fun athletic events from a sack race to shooting on a professional soccer goalie, tug of war, and a giant water slide. Everyone medals at the Pelham games. Learn More
Golf Outing
Our annual event at Pelham Country Club to benefit the “Good Neighbor” program with a full day of golf and fun competition followed by cocktails, dinner and awards. Learn More

On Friday October 25, at The Surf Club in New Rochelle, 225 guests joined in a magnificent celebration of the Pelham Civic Association’s Annual Fundraising Gala and honored two of Pelham’s most significant volunteers who have certainly “made a difference” in Pelham… and beyond. This year’s Persons of the Year were Tina Constable and Dan McLaughlin.
