Mike Volpe and Phil Carfora, 2022 Persons of the Year
Founded in 1939, The Pelham Civic Association, one of Westchester County’s most active volunteer, charitable organizations - dedicated to assisting the youth/students, elderly, mentally & physically challenged and financially needy - will present its most prestigious awards - Persons of the Year - to longtime Pelham Civic Officers Michael Volpe and Philip Carfora.

• Three-decade active Pelham Civic Member in every Civic program, project and event.
• Hooperstown, Founder/Owner, of the Mount Vernon based sports facility that provided local youths and teens access to athletic events including AAU basketball programs, various other events and training. Hooperstown also provide employment for local students and mentorship programs including career and post-high school guidance to those for whom such guidance made a difference to them and their families.
