“It was ‘politics aside’ as the panelists displayed a spirit of camaraderie, focusing solely on the students. They provided the well-attended workshop with numerous ways to get involved… and even encouraged them to run for office. It was also clearly explained to the students that once the elections are over the real task at hand is actually governing.”
Pelham Civics Celebrates 30 Years of Summer Olympics!
In the true sense of the "Olympic Spirit" the Pelham Civic Association hosted its 30th Summer Olympics Day on Saturday June 3rd at Glover Field In Pelham. A huge turnout from Kindergarten through the 5th Grade flocked the entire field and participated in organized fun activities and competitive events, with exuberant camaraderie and friendship, all supervised by the Pelham Civic Summer Olympics Committee and its volunteers.

For the 28th consecutive year, the Pelham Civic Association presented their Community Awards to four local high school students who demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation in the areas of community service, charitable support, civic leadership, and creativity in service.
